Take your merch to the next level with needle and thread.
Embroidery offers a professional and elevated style to your jackets, sweatshirts, polos, bags, and headwear.Â
Our digitizing team does all the magic by sequencing your artwork into stitch form. Once we have a digitized file, our embroiders program the file, set the threads, hoops the goods, and sets it into production. We test every digitized file to make sure the details translate well to a needle-and-thread format.Â
Less is more. While screen printing offers the ability to print large, the simplicity with embroidery is often advantagous. When pairing with quality garments, a small, embroidered logo goes a long way. Minimum orders start at 12 pieces.Â
Pick a style. Elevated styles like polos, jackets, and hats are often the choice.Â
Digitize. We take your art (or we can help) and convert it into a stitchable format.Â
Select from our stock thread charts. With our help, we can help match your specific brand colors.Â
Submit your request through our order form with all of your project information for us to review. We will follow up and let you know the next steps to get your order into print.
What is your order minimum?
24 Pieces per design.
Turnaround Times
Standard lead time is about two weeks after artwork and order approval.
Do you do rush orders?
Yes, for an added fee. This is dependent on our schedule but please inquire immediately with your in hands date and we can generally accommodate.
Do you handle the garment sourcing?
Yes, typically we do it all. We have wholesale accounts with brands and apparel distributors at wholesale prices and is suggested that we order through our own product offerings to offer the best pricing and service. Check our Good, Better, Bests catalog for our most popular styles and options!
Can I provide my own apparel, if I wanted?
It depends, but requires approval. Customer provided goods can become complex for reasons like: goods are irregular and unprintable; goods are disorganized, not counted, or polybagged; goods are assorted styles, causing additional time to sort and inspect before printing; fabric compositions may cause print issues.
Please reach out with product information for us to determine if it's printable. We have the right to deny printing. Additional charges may incur due to delicate handling or higher risk of spoilage on costly provided items.
Customer absorbs up to 2% or min 2 pieces of spoilage or misprints.
Can I see a sample concept?
Before approval, we always prepare the artwork onto a digital mockup, which is included with every order. Here's an example!Physical preproduction samples are $50 per design in addition to all setup charges. (FYI, 98% of our lifetime orders have not had preproduction samples produced).
Can I mix and match apparel colors and styles?
It's possible, but with limits. Most of the time we can combine styles and print the same art. Keep in mind combining a black and white tee, for example, may incur ink change fees or additional setups if there are adjustments like swapping an ink color out for different color tees. We also limit the number of colors and styles to 4-6 variations before we add additional fees for complexity (we call this a skittles order)
What file formats do you accept?
We prefer vector art files in the format of .ai, .eps, .svg, .pdf (Illustrator PDF). Layered Photoshop files are accepted as long as the artwork is scale to the desired print size and is at a minimum of 300 DPI.
I'm not sure if my artwork meets embroidery quality. Can you help?
If you send us you art, we can inspect it and let you know if the artwork is sufficient or if it needs recreation or modifications.
Do you offer design services if I don't have my own artwork?
Yes, our design team can help you create custom artwork for an additional fee. General touch ups and simple design services are billed hourly. Custom design and illustrations are sometimes billed at a flat rate.
What is 'digitizing' and what does it mean for embroidery?
Digitizing is the process of creating a sew file in our embroidery program that communicates with the machine on how to stitch an image. See our before-and-after works above on how we manually convert a digital image into a sew file.
What thread colors can I pick?
You can find our stock thread colors on our Thread Chart.
What if I cannot find a thread color that works for my design?
Keep in mind that there are only a finite set of thread options to choose from. We can special order thread colors we don't stock for an additional fee.
How does artwork translate to stitching/embroidery?
Keep in mind that taking a digital image and converting it to needle and thread has a limited amount of detail we can achieve. Some designs are not pro-embroidery, such as small text, large color gradients, and fine detail.
How does stitch density affect the embroidoery and pricing?
Pricing is based on the # of stitches. The more fill and detail of your artwork requires more stitching, which is higher in cost. Keep in mind the size of the graphic has a drastic affect on stitching. Artwork sized at 5" x 5" is signicantly more in stitch count that artwork sized at 3" x 3".
What are the mininimum stitch requirements for art?
Minimum line thickness on artwork is 1mm wide. Smallest text size (at full caps) is 5mm tall with a line weight thickness of 1mm. Small text is often problematic if we are embroidering on hats or left chests due to a small embroidery area. We generally need to edit marks or texts in logo to swap out a font style for something more basic.
