Highway 166 is a country cross-route between the coastal 101 at Santa Maria to Highway 99- outside of Bakersfield. A major trucking route and gateway from the central valley to the coast, the 166 has long stretches of beautiful plains, cradled by detailed mountain ranges.

Stop off at the Carrizo Plain, detour to Highway 33, grab a burger at the Buckhorn, and most importantly, stop of to visit us at Blue Sky Center for a few nights, immersing yourself in a quiet, rural town with creative camp accommodations.
