A little about us

Jose and Garrett met almost ten years after combining their skills and experience in the print industry to establish Isla Vista Screen Printing. Now, through various outgrown print warehouses, offices, and equipment, Jose and Garrett have established a new home and headquarters in the industrial downtown of Santa Barbara.

Their strong passion for printing, art, and the community has extended them to become a key entity within Isla Vista – as a leader, supplier, and motivator through art, history, experience, and community involvement, Isla Vista Screen Printing is a hub for art, messages, communication and respect. The passion of Jose and Garrett and their vision is shown through their work.

In 2016, Jose and Garrett fell in love with New Cuyama. A representation of their combined souls, New Cuyama speaks in every form. A rural, valley with an industrial history; the mechanical feel of classic, working Americana, juxtaposed with pristine blue skies and tranquil valley floors. In partnership with Blue Sky’s vision, we set our life path to be part of this unique community that we immediately felt connected with.

We want to build partnerships with the local community and afar – connect like minded, creative, and eager-to-learn individuals through art and screen printing. For us, screen printing is our ability to express how we think, feel, and live. Being able to collaborate with unique, amazing people is just an extension of that.

New Cuyama is a very special, powerful, and unique space. With that, comes an amazing #CuyamaStrong community that not only do we want to be part of, but to open up our experiences and world of art and business to create something that we’ve never seen before.
